In this cost of living crisis, who wants to pay for expensive PS5 games if they don’t have to? Especially remasters/remakes/reboots which Naughty Dog has a habit of doing too often. Now The Last of Us Part II Remaster for PS5 will be available on 19th January 2024.

Normally, I wouldn’t think paying for slightly better visuals is worth getting the remaster especially given how good the PS4 version looks on PS5 already. It looked incredible on my PS5 at launch and even better when they upgraded it for the PS5 at 60fps. So you’ll barely notice the difference in this remaster unless you have a brand new 4K TV.

But the new roguelite game mode in my eyes is worth the upgrade. Roguelite can be described according to Sony’s blog as:
